I have long dreamed of the moment when I would be able to photograph the Rila lakes frozen, but not yet covered with snow. This time I was lucky - the shapes and reflections that are seen during the "blue hour" are truly unique.
The Seven Rila Lakes are a group of glacial lakes in the northwestern Rila Mountains in Bulgaria. The lakes are situated between 2,100 and 2,500 metres elevation above sea level.
On the pictures: Bliznaka (The twin) lake (2,243 m) and mount Haramiata (2,465 m)
