Недалеко от святого источника в селе Радонеж русло реки создало своеобразный рай для местных земноводных. К середине апреля травяные лягушки устремляются в центральную лужу небольшого заболоченного участка для спаривания и откладывания икры. Два дня съёмки в холодной воде, слушая утробное пение сотен крохотных влюблённых сердец, позволили запечатлеть интересный природный процесс.
