Camel Silhouette

This photograph was taken between the cities of Es-Semara and Laayoune, in the heart of the Moroccan desert, during sunset. It captures the silhouette of a camel standing against the horizon a symbol of calm, strength, and resilience in the vastness of the desert. I shot this image with an iPhone 13 Pro, using the natural light of the setting sun combined with a subtle flash to gently illuminate the texture of the ground. The strong contrast between light and shadow reflects the transition from the warmth of the day to the coolness of the evening, adding a poetic dimension to the scene. Through this work, I aimed to capture the soul of the desert in a minimalist approach, where the simplicity of the landscape becomes a source of visual and emotional power.
