This work focuses on the mountains of Zherong, Fujian, using light and shadow as its brush to depict the soul of the landscape in the Min region. Against a backdrop of thick, dark clouds and a deep night sky, golden light pours down like a waterfall from the heavens, penetrating the mist and flowing and diffusing among the mountain folds, gilding the ink-black mountain shadows with a lustrous golden texture.
