The “offshore stake trap” fishing method in Trà Vinh is a fixed fishing technique that uses wooden stakes and long nets set out at sea to intercept fish moving with the tides. Fishermen live temporarily on these platforms, waiting for the right currents to harvest their catch. The job requires experience, strength, and resilience against harsh weather conditions.
