Wildlife and Travel Photography

In 1979 Larry Pannell began his career as a professional photojournalist in Laguna Beach, California photographing professional sports, concerts and travel for various newspapers and magazines. Larry moved to Yosemite National Park in 1982 where he lived for 3 years focusing on landscape and wildlife photography and was an avid backpacker. Years later he moved to Sun Valley, Idaho in the Rocky Mountains for 17 years focusing again on his passion for photography. He began to travel the world in 2010 visiting over 100 countries with his camera and notebook in hand over a 15-year period ending in 2024. In 2025 Larry relocated to Skagway, Alaska during the summers to continue his love of landscape, travel and wildlife photography.
