Evening light falling over the Loire river in France. The Loire river is still a wild river not suited for big boats and on the many islands and sandbanks many birds are to be seen. The Loire river is the longest river in France with a length of 1013 km.A rainy day in the city of Besançon at the Quai Vauban. Besançon is a city in the east of France not far away from the Swiss border. The lady is walking past the Platane trees and at the other side of the Doubs river there are the old houses with small shops under the arcades.A man admiring the wonderful architecture of the British Museum in London. The museum is a mixture of modern and classic architecture. It really is a beautiful museum with a great collection of old antiquities like the Egyptian Rosetta stone and the famous Greec Elgin marbles.
