Larry Pannell is an award-winning photojournalist and intrepid photographer who has traveled to over 100 countries with his camera since 1979 capturing powerful moments in wildlife, landscapes, and diverse cultures. After beginning his career in professional sports and concert photography, he soon turned his focus to the natural world, earning recognition from National Geographic, Shutterbug Magazine, Viewbug, and served as a staff photojournalist at Pulse News Mexico.
Best known for his emotionally striking imagery, including his acclaimed series of a dying lion in Kruger National Park. Larry’s photography reflects a lifetime of adventure, patience, and a deep connection to the wild. Alongside his love of nature, he enjoys fishing, time with his wife Pla and their six dogs.
